LifeHorizon helps orphans in Sierra Leone. The work goes to support an orphanage in Tombu south of the capital Freetown. The orphanage currently has 26 orphans and young people. Some of them are orphans of the civil war, and the rest are children who, in most cases, have been abandoned on the street or lost their families in other ways.
LifeHorizon helps children and young people with food and clothing so that they can feel safe and have time and energy in their everyday lives. Everyone gets two meals a day, and each child's meal costs very little compared to here at home in Norway. For just 100 NOK, you can help one child with food for a whole month. In other words, it doesn't have to cost that much. All donations received by LifeHorizon go directly to the children and our work with the orphanage, so you can rest assured that your help will really reach them.
